Bamboo Housing Platform

Upon spending hours searching for a rental on Facebook Marketplace, I realized that the entire process could be made more efficient and better for us students. Hence, I brought together a few friends and our app, Bamboo was born. As team lead, I scheduled weekly tasks, arranged meetings and listened to team input and suggestions to drive the development of our app. In addition, I built features in React + Node.js including our messaging system backend, cloud image storage, and listings map. Within the site, I integrated third party services including OAuth and Google Maps API. Finally, I designed MongoDB data models and coordinated cloud deployment.
We are currently working on social media marketing for our platform and gaining additional user traction.
